Nihongo Festival: Japan Foundation Event

Last February 9, Alta Philippines team participated in the Nihongo Festival, organized by the Japan Foundation Manila, which was held in Pacific Star Building, Makati City. They challenged themselves in Nihongo conversations with other Japanese language learners; it was their big experience for them to adapt the Japanese culture through work and passion.

The Office 365 Roadmap has added thirteen new updates such as Bookings functions and Outlook for Android / iOS.

The entry for new SharePoint Admin Center is expected to release on January 22, 2018.

Office 365 update

Office 365 Update (10-16 December 2017)

This is the December 10 – 16, 2017 weekly updates Office 365.

The Office 365 Roadmap has six new entries, with most related to new features coming to StaffHub.

There is a new event on Monday, December 18, 2017 focused on the new calling features in Microsoft Teams. The popular customer immersion experiences are gearing up for more sessions starting in January.

The biggest news last week was the aforementioned calling features for Microsoft Teams. Other posts in the Blog Roundup include a look at what’s new for Office 365 in December and enhancements to sharing links and image search in Office 365.

Three Teams-related videos, details on protecting email on any Android / iOS device, and updated Skype for Business training close out this week’s post.

1. ATP for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Teams

The security of ATP will now extend to SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. ATP now helps secure a broader set of workloads in Office 365, then also gains protection from advanced threats in more of your productivity workloads.

New users of OneDrive that set up the OneDrive sync client will receive a one-time tutorial on uploading files to OneDrive, accessing their content via the Mobile Application, and sharing their files with others.

Team members can now use StaffHub to see and access all the news for the day directly in the app.

4. StaffHub: IT Admin Portal reporting available

Tenant admins will now have access to usage data for all StaffHub teams in their organization. The report will include information about the size of the team, members and owners on the team, along with which devices and features each team is using.

CONTRACT SIGNING WITH ALTA PHILIPPINES TEAM AND CADD SOLUTIONS, INCORPORATED

Today November 21, 2017, Alta Philippines team has received a new project from CADD Solutions, Incorporated in Cubao, Quezon City. This was a huge achievement for them, especially to their sales and marketing associate Anjennica Diaz and web programmer Kyle Louise Villar during the contract signing with their new client. According to the two representatives, they had great experiences due to their true hardwork and fighting spirit. For the next months to come, Alta Philippines team would continue their success by looking forward to their upcoming projects: more and more, Ganbarimashou!
